Day by Day (3 days)
DAR ES SALAAM TO NYERERE NATIONAL PARK.
On the first day of the safari, you will leave Dar es Salaam early morning and drive with Millennia Safaris to Nyerere National Park.
Nyerere National Park is quite a distance so you will arrive by midday and on arrival and after lunch; you will go for a boat ride in the Rufiji River.
Crocodiles, hippos, and hippos can be seen here as well as other animals as they converge to quench their thirst.
Crocodiles take advantage to hunt their prey and you might be treated to sights of animal action if lucky.
Dinner and overnight at Selous Great Water Lodge: All meals included.
GAME DRIVE IN NYERERE NATIONAL PARK.
After breakfast, you will spend a full day in the vast National Park doing game drives in searches of animals like elephants, zebras, gazelles, impalas, and the rarest of all; the African Wild dogs. This National park was named after a prominent European explorer; the late Fredrick Selous and the park have since been declared a world heritage site by the UN body UNESCO.
This game reserve is roughly the size of Switzerland and it covers unexploited African wilderness with topography that varies from rolling savannah grassland plains, savannah woodlands, and rocky outcrops that are believed to have been cut by the Rufiji River.
Among the activities on offer here includes boat trips, a walking safari, and game drives by 4×4 vehicles.

NYERERE NATIONAL PARK TO DAR ES SALAAM.
Early morning game drive or a nature walk then after breakfast you embark on your drive back to Dar es Salaam by road.
You will arrive at Dar es Salaam in the afternoon if you drive by road. If you are flying to Dar es Salaam then you will be transferred to the airstrip to take your flight to Dar es Salaam.
