Materuni Waterfall

Materuni is a Chagga village on the lower slopes of Kilimanjaro, best known for a roughly 90-meter waterfall reached via a short guided hike through farmland and forest. Most visits combine the waterfall walk with a stop at a local coffee farm, where the Chagga people — Kilimanjaro's traditional inhabitants — demonstrate the process from picking and roasting coffee cherries to grinding and brewing, making it a popular half- or full-day trip from Moshi.
