Mount Kilimanjaro

At 5,895 meters, Mount Kilimanjaro's Uhuru Peak is the highest point in Africa and the world's tallest free-standing mountain — meaning it isn't part of a mountain range. No technical climbing skills are required on any of its standard routes (Marangu, Machame, Lemosho, Rongai, Shira, and Umbwe), which makes it one of the most accessible major summits on Earth, though altitude is a real factor and success rates improve significantly on longer itineraries that allow more time to acclimatize.
